Information About Human Hair, and Methods
Chinese Hair (aka Asian Hair):
A thick and coarse fiber that is naturally straight and dark brown to black in color. High Quantity, Durability and Low Cost. It is the strongest human hair and is able to withstand multiple chemical and mechanical processes. It is easily mass-produced making it a low cost item. It is the most popular hair in the industry because it is comfortable to process at the manufacturing level and there is no shortage of supply. Ventilating a hairpiece does not require as much skill or care as with cuticle hair.
Indian Hair (aka Asian Hair, Italian Hair):
A variety of fiber types from fine and straight, medium thick with bodywave and curly to thick coarse hair. “Italian hair” is actually Indian hair that has been processed in Italy or Spain and then sold at premium prices. High Quantity, Good Quality, Variety and Low Manufacturing Cost. Indian hair is popular to use for custom made hairpieces because it can be made to resemble European hair. Although prices for remy Indian hair increase every 2-3 months, it is still available in the less expensive non-remy form. The Indian hair fiber is small in diameter compared to Chinese hair and after chemical processing can feel and look just like European hair. Finally, a great attribute of Indian hair is that it comes in a full range of textures and body.
Remy/Remi Hair:
Hair that has been cut, and maintained with the roots aligned and bound together at the top of the bundle. These bundles are carefully preserved throughout the export process and arrive at the factory still intact.
Non-Remy Hair:
Hair that does not have its roots aligned. It may have been collected off the floor, or there may be some other reason they were unable to keep the roots together and running in the same direction.
What is the difference between Single drawn and Double drawn hair?
Single drawn hair is cut and gathered as a ponytail from one donor. Therefore, there are naturaly shorter strands within a bundle of hair.  That’s why the hair may be sold 15” to 18” because there are a few 15” to 17” strands within the bundle. Many people are misinformed that the shorter hairs are split ends.  Double drawn hair contains only hair of the same length. This type of hair is double processed to draw out the shorter lengths. Sometimes it is improperly cut. It can take 10 lbs. of hair to produce 1 lb. of 18” double drawn . This is very expensive one as this procedure is done by hand. So, 4 oz. of 18” inch of Remy hair has full 18" hair strands.

Skin Weft:
High quality skin weft hair(PU weft hair)this product must be made from Remy human hair.  Skin weft is made by hand-knotted to very thin and transparent PU (Poly-urethan coating).
PU refers to the type of material that hair strands are sewn onto. Unlike a cloth material, which can be itchy to those with sensitive scalps, PU material is a thin gauze-like, nearly transparent material which is much more comfortable to the touch. Hair strands are attached by hand-knotting them to this material, one strand at a time.  Compared with machine weft, skin wefts have many advantages, and comfortable for wearing?  PU weft hair is like human’s skin, it is very soft, transparent, clear. It is not easy to recognize when worn on head.  So, skin weft hair is like you own hair; no short hair, because skin weft is made by hand. Short hair will be removed when producing, so it has the best hair ratio, it is easy wearing and removing adhesive tape will be used to adhere skin weft to human’s head.
Hand Tied Wefts:
100% remy human hair, all hand tied, thin weave, and high quality. Hand-tied weft refers to the weft of the hair. Our hand tied wefts are micro in size and allows the hair to lay flatter once in place. If the weft is too wide for your track, then simply fold it over and continue to sew. Do not cut the weft,or it will unravel and shed.  However, if you must cut the hand-tied wefts, please tie off the cut ends or reinforce with nail glue to ensure that the hair will not unravel. Hand-Tied Wefts are custom made to fit your exact measurements for the track . Because the wefts are made by hand there is greater control over ensuring stability and security of the extension hair, which means the wearer will experience very little shedding.  Our hand tied wefts have a good market, and does no tangle, and you can wear it for a long time.  We can offer you straight hair, and other textures in the color you desire.
Difference between machine weft and hand tied weft:
Hand tied wefts are made by tying strands of hair around a strong weaving thread.  This process is done by hand. Machine wefts are made by sewing strands of hair together With a hair sewing machine. In Machine weft, there is double wefting.

Texture Descriptions:
Straight - This hair has a silky shiny texture, similar to European hair.
Yaki - This hair is slightly more course texture than the straight texture. It looks very similar to African American hair that has been relaxed.
Body Wave - This hair has a loose wave pattern.
Deep Wave - This hair has the deepest medium wave available
Spanish Wave - This hair has a tight wave pattern.
African Hair:
High quality human hair which is harvested from a person of African ancestry. Very Rare!
Virgin Hair:
It's hair from a single donor (one person) and is unprocessed. It has never been chemically treated or altered.
Baby Hair:
Body Hair is a few shorter strands of hair added around the edges of the wig to help the hairline appear more natural.
Toupee:
Custom designed according to the different requirements of the customer.  Made from hair lace of various materials and human hair of various colors.
Difference between Lace Front Wigs and Full Lace Wigs?
Lace Front Wigs extend a small piece of nylon mesh about 1 inch outward from the front of the unit, and at the same time Full Lace Wigs around the base unit.
What are lace front wigs and full lace wigs?
A lace wig, full lace wig or front lace wig is a hairpiece, hair system or human hair wig that is crafted with the illusion of hair growing directly from your scalp. They are made with various types of bases. We refer to these bases as lace wig caps or lace wig bases. One type of lace wig base is called, "lace", hence the name lace wig, full lace wig or front lace wig. A full lace wig is made where it can be parted all throughout the hair system. The illusion of hair growing from your scalp occurs in all areas of the wig. These are the most popular. A front lace wig is made with the illusion of hair growing from your scalp but only in the front of the lace wig.
Lace Frontals?
Lace frontals are basically half wigs. The lace frontal is applied to the front hairline area with your choice of adhesive for a natural undetectable look. All lace frontal units measure 6" back from forehead.
What’s difference about Swiss Lace, French Lace, Thin Skin & Stretch Lace?
Swiss Lace is more undetectable
French Lace is more durable
Thin Skin is not very breathable
Stretch Lace is very easy to detect
The French Lace Wig:
This is the most popular wig on the market because of its durability and affordability.
French lace is slightly thicker as compared to the Swiss Lace . This does not mean that it is visible.
Many prefer to use French Lace as a base because of its durability and the fact that it cannot be seen. You can get this base in different colours perfectly matched to the colour of your scalp and face. Celebrities including Tyra Banks, Brandy, Mary J Blige and the Queen of lace wigs Beyonce Knowles wear it.
The Swiss Lace Wig:
This is a much finer material than the French Lace. It is less detectable to the eye but it is less durable. It is not recommended for first time lace wig wearers.
Taking Care of Hair Extensions:
Taking care of your hair extensions is very important to enjoy your extensions. Here are just a few tips that will help to keep your extensions in great condition.
Washing:
Keep your hair clean. Hair tangles when dirt and sweat build up. Wash your hair after exercise, swimming etc. Brush your hair and remove all tangles before washing it. Wash your hair going in a downward motion. Use a good quality shampoo, your stylist can advise you which product is best for your hair. When a lot of water is added at once to very dry hair, hair can swell up and tangle. Gradually wet the hair and brush gently before you completely wash it. This is more common with less expensive extensions.
Styling:
When brushing use a soft bristle brush, start at the ends of your hair and gently work your way up. Always brush in a downward motion and do not brush harshly. Brush your hair 2 or 3 times a day. Heat is your hair’s biggest enemy, the more you use the shorter your hair extension will last. Be careful with the use of hair dryers and curling irons. It is best to let your hair dry naturally.
Exercise:
Wear a cap when swimming or keep your hair out of the water. Chlorine and salt water can and will cause the hair to tangle and matt up. It is recommended to wear your hair in a braid when you swim or exercise.  Wet your hair with fresh water and apply leave-in conditioner.  Then, braid your hair before being around recreational water areas.  Do not tie off hair with rubber bands.  Use hair bands that will not pinch hair too tightly.  Finally, always wash hair gently using special shampoos and conditioners designed for optimal hydration, smoothing, silkening and repair.
Sleeping:
Never sleep on wet hair. Make sure your hair is completely dry before you go to bed. It is also recommended to wrap your hair together in a loose braid, or gently tie it in pony tails to prevent tangling.
Hair Care Products:
Use a good (leave-in) conditioner to keep your hair soft. Don’t over do it. To much conditioner or any other hair care product can cause a build up and tangling. Avoid hair products that contain alcohol. Alcohol makes hair dry. Ask your stylist what would be the best products for your hair.
Hair Treatments:
Do not perm, colour or chemically process your own hair extensions. Let your professional hair colorist take responsibility for proper chemical choices and correct procedures.
